The Optima™ casement lock covers frame heights from 20" [508 mm] to 80" [2032 mm] with a progressive lock-up that keeps operating force low while pulling the sash in from the bottom to the top. Lock bars are available in 2, 3, and 4 point configurations with three lock pin heights.
The system is a lock actuator and backing plate, a lock bar, and a chosen set of keepers and retainers. Extended lock bar travel — 30% more than competing systems — means the upper-most lock point still engages its keeper on the tallest windows, and it absorbs up to 1/8" of placement tolerance per keeper.
Retainers snap into vertical positioning holes on the lock bar, and an engineered audible click registers when the lock is fully locked and unlocked.
