Polyurethane sealants offer a low moisture vapor transmission rate and good gas retention with fast adhesion build-up. Polysulfide sealants tolerate mix ratio deviations of up to ±20%. Silicones provide the best UV stability. Hot melt butyl and reactive hot melt sealants offer extremely low moisture vapor transmission with easy processing.
